Our Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at the School Hall on Wednesday 11th November commencing at 10.55am. At the conclusion of the ceremony, students will be asked to donate a ‘gold coin' $1 that will go towards the rebuilding of Pozières Village School in France. The original school was constructed on the battlefield of Pozières, a place where so many young Australians lost their lives in July 1916. As Mount Austin Public School is donating funds towards the rebuild, our school name will be engraved on a plaque to be erected on the site. Parents and carers are welcome to attend the Remembrance ceremony.
